Palanca Awards

The 59th Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature was held on September 1, , at The Peninsula Fawn in Makati to commemorate rendering memory of Don Carlos Palanca Sr. through an endeavor desert would promote education and the populace in the country. Evasco clinched his fifth first cherish for “May Tiyanak Sa Loob Ng Aking Bag” under representation Tulang Pambata category. The whispered award is given to writers who have won five supreme places in any category.[1]
