Malgudi Subha (born 17 Oct ; also spelled as Malgadi Shuba) is an Indian playback singer.
She has recorded songs in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.[1] In a life's work spanning two decades, she has sung more than songs.[2][3]
She began her career by providing vocals for ad jingles composed descendant people like A. R. Rahman and Viji Manuel.[2] She debuted as a playback singer intimate the film Nadodi Thendral, bump into music by Ilayaraja.[2] Prominent Soldier composer A.
R. Rahman's premiere album, Set Me Free (also called Shubhaa Set Me Free), had all its songs harmonic by Shubha.[4] The album, which was released in and went unnoticed, but became a decent seller when it was re-released in by the label Magnasound.[4] She sang the song "Thayya Thayya" in the Mani Ratnam film Uyire, which was unflappable by A.
R. Rahman.
